From the egg to six-week-old poults we put in the maximum effort to ensure a high quality bird. Animal welfare is on top of our priority list and every stage of the rearing process is monitored to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of the birds.

To get get a top class bird you need top class eggs. The birds used in our laying pens are from our own flocks and are well catered for in the laying pens. A high quality diet is given to ensure the production of top class eggs. 

All our eggs are sanitised in this Bambino egg washer before they go into the incubators. A clean egg gives the embryo inside the best start in the world. Our hatching building also has a one-way system, ensuring that there is no cross-contamination at any stage of the process.

We use Petersime P13 Setters and these are some of the best in the world.

When ready, the eggs are moved to the Petersime 96 Cleanway Hatcher which is in a separate room from the Setters.

 As we have light sandy soil we suffer less with the problems that heavy rainfall brings.

 

All our deliveries of birds are made with our purpose-built self-ventilating trailer of our own design. This ensures a flow of air to all the crates. We offer these custom trailers for sale. We supply birds to shoots all over the country and many have been our customers for over a decade.  We have maintained their business by offering a top quality product and giving a first class service.
